The Giuseppe Moretti Archaeological Museum in San Severino Marche is launching “TRACCE,” a series of cultural events dedicated to exploring archaeology, history, and the landscape, bringing together experts in the field and enthusiasts.
The initiative stems from the fruitful collaboration between the Municipality of San Severino Marche, the Alta Valle del Potenza Museum Network, and the Superintendence of Archaeology, Fine Arts, and Landscape for the Provinces of Ascoli Piceno, Fermo, and Macerata. The goal of these events is to explore the evidence and “traces” left by ancient civilizations in the Marche region, offering the public new perspectives and the findings of the most recent scientific research.
The events, held in the splendid setting of Castello al Monte in San Severino Marche, will feature archaeologists and experts from the Superintendency, who will guide participants on a fascinating journey through time—from the gradual integration of the Picene civilization into the Roman world to the monumental expressions of the sacred.
