Le sale sono ospitate all\u2019interno dell\u2019ex Episcopio, edificio carico di storia e simbolo della continuit\u00e0 fra la citt\u00e0 romana e quella medievale.<\/p><p>Il museo prende il nome da <strong>Giuseppe Moretti<\/strong> (1881\u20131963), illustre archeologo nato a San Severino Marche, soprintendente a Roma e ad Ancona e figura di rilievo nel panorama nazionale per l\u2019impegno nella tutela e nel restauro dei beni antichi. A lui si deve, tra l\u2019altro, la ricomposizione dell\u2019Ara Pacis, simbolo dell\u2019arte e della civilt\u00e0 romana.<\/p><p>La collezione del museo raccoglie reperti provenienti dalle campagne di scavo condotte nella valle del Potenza e nell\u2019area dell\u2019antica <strong>Septempeda<\/strong>, testimoniando la ricchezza e la continuit\u00e0 di insediamento di questo territorio.<\/p><p>L\u2019allestimento \u00e8 concepito come una <strong>linea del tempo<\/strong> che accompagna il visitatore dalla preistoria fino alla civilt\u00e0 romana, passando per la fase picena.<\/p><p><strong>Attualmente \u00e8 aperta al pubblico la sezione romana<\/strong>, con un <strong>nuovo allestimento<\/strong> che unisce rigore scientifico e attenzione all\u2019accessibilit\u00e0. Grazie a video in Lis e installazioni tattili, il visitatore pu\u00f2 esplorare l\u2019antica citt\u00e0 di Septempeda, scoprendo la vita quotidiana degli abitanti attraverso oggetti, mosaici e frammenti ceramici.<\/p><p><strong>La sezione picena \u00e8 invece in corso di riallestimento<\/strong>: la sua riapertura permetter\u00e0 di riscoprire la civilt\u00e0 preromana che ha plasmato l\u2019identit\u00e0 del territorio.<\/p><p>Il Museo \u201cG. Moretti\u201d \u00e8 oggi un <strong>esempio di accessibilit\u00e0 e innovazione applicata alla valorizzazione del patrimonio archeologico<\/strong>. Rampe, ascensori, modelli tattili e applicazioni digitali consentono una <strong>visita inclusiva e partecipata<\/strong>.<\/p><p>Pi\u00f9 che un luogo di esposizione, \u00e8 un laboratorio di
